There was a time when looking at an empty subscriber dashboard might have stopped me in my tracks. It felt a little ridiculous to spend an evening tweaking headers, picking fonts, and obsessing over opening lines for an audience of one: myself. But as I sat back and looked at the clean page, all I felt was pure, electric excitement.
I realized this was never about instant numbers. It was about showing up to the page and building a rhythm.
For so long, stories, ideas, and little behind-the-scenes moments lived scattered in notebooks, drafts, and fleeting thoughts. I wanted a dedicated corner of the world to gather them—a space where I could share updates, chronicle the messy magic of the creative process, and celebrate the small milestones along the way. Starting before anyone was watching turned out to be the greatest gift I could have given myself. It gave me the freedom to find my voice without pressure, to experiment with what I wanted to say, and to fall in love with the simple habit of sharing.
Every thriving community began as an empty room waiting for the first guest to walk through the door. I set out the welcome mat, lit the lantern, and poured the tea.
I wrote the first issue, loved every second of creating it, and hit save. When you find your way here, I cannot wait to share the journey with you.
